Our Story

Blue Sky was inspired by my Christian faith.  Some call it creation care but I was born with a love of animals that has only deepened over time.  After years of working with animals, I came to realize that my diet had to change to reflect my core values.  So now I’m a plant based whole food eater and never felt better.  Please join me in this journey towards compassion for all of God’s creatures.

“Ask the animals, and they will teach you, or the birds of the air, and they will tell you; or speak to the earth, and it will teach you, or let the fish of the sea inform you. Please contact us if you would like to learn more about our rehoming service.  It is required that your animal is up to date on vetting with vet records.  If you are in financial need of assistance with that, we can in some cases help with the required vetting prior to placement.  All animals will be spayed/neutered prior to rehoming. Also full disclosure of all health and behavior issues is required to help ensure a good placement.
